Our Mission
Section titled “Our Mission”The West Virginia Freedom of Information Coalition (WVFOIC) is a non-partisan collective of engaged citizens who promotes government transparency and defend the public’s right to know in the state of West Virginia. We educate the public on information freedoms, advocate for sensible open-records laws, and support requestors in the courthouse.
